Volume I (29 pages) is intended for a general audience and contains proposals to:
Streamline the hazardous substance application process Improve how controls are communicated Strengthen compliance and enforcement arrangements.
Volume II (37 pages) is intended for people who work with HSNO on a day- to-day basis. Twelve areas covered in this second volume, five key areas being:
The workability of exposure limit controls for toxic and ecotoxic substances The movement of specialty substances between research institutions HSNO approval numbers on labels Enforcement agency powers of entry and inspection Data protection provisions for agrichemicals
